Katrina von Kassell is a beautiful 3-year-old classic German Shepherd so full of love she could just burst!  Being pet and rubbed is Katrina's most favorite past time; she just can't get enough of humans.  If you stop petting her and she's not quite through with you, she'll let you know by ever so gently giving you her paw.  It's her little way of saying she loves you!  The volunteer who has spent the most time with Katrina, since she arrived at Westside, says she is a sweet girl with good manners.  Katrina walks well with her person and does not pull on the leash.  She is also very polite when taking treats from your hand.  When out and about, Katrina is curious and alert to her surroundings, but in a good way. She is never too distracted to the point of not being attentive to you.  Katrina likes other dogs, but gets very excited when she sees one because she wants to play.  A formal introduction to any new dog is always a good idea and Katrina thinks it’s more ladylike anyways.  Katrina would love it if you came by to make her acquaintance but she's pretty sure you won't be leaving without her!
